The Maria Hick winery, nestled in picturesque vineyards, offers a breathtaking view of the Danube and the Hinterhaus castle ruins. The quiet, sunny location invites you to relax. The Danube flows just a five-minute walk away, and the car ferry takes you to Spitz in 15 minutes, where shopping facilities are available.
There is a bakery in the village itself. The traditional winery offers wine tastings in its own Buschenschank (typical tavern) on request. The wines, juices, brandies, rose frizzante and liqueurs have received several awards from A La Carte and Vinaria. The vineyards are cultivated according to sustainable and ecological guidelines, which underlines the quality and unique taste of the products.
