The authentic Rixinger winery is located in the idyllic Gut am Steg in the Spitzer Graben, surrounded by striking wine terraces such as Zornberg, Singerriedel and Kalkofen. The traditional Vierkanthof is home to lovingly furnished guest rooms where you can enjoy peace and quiet and a genuine winegrower's experience.

Living with a view & comfort

• Three double rooms and a vacation apartment offer space for a maximum of eight guests - ideal for couples or small groups.
• The rooms are furnished in solid wood, with satellite TV, radio, fridge, free Wi-Fi and each has a balcony with a view of the steep Wachau vineyards.
• A daily breakfast with homemade Wachau apricot jam and cake provides the perfect start to the day.
• On request, the hosts offer their own wines and brandies for tasting and purchase.

Ecologically oriented viticulture in extreme locations - such as Kalkofen or Singerriedel - with minimal intervention and a lot of manual work. Variety of wines from top locations: Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Neuburger, Pinot Blanc or Gewürztraminer - full of character, elegant and typically Wachau.Guests are welcome to taste wines in the vinotheque or in the lounge, existing cellar tours are available by arrangement.
