Bio-Weingut und Heurigen Harm

Our organic winery is located in the small village of Krustetten, south of the town of Krems, on the border between the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) and Wachau wine-growing regions, where our wines also thrive. A love of nature, an interest in plants and animals and a great deal of determination led to the implementation of organic farming at the winery back in 1999. Organic viticulture differs from conventional viticulture in that it does not use artificial fertilizers, herbicides and synthetic pesticides. On the one hand, this method requires a very high level of manual labor, forward thinking and constant observation of the interplay of nature in the vineyard.
