The Kreuzenstein Eagle Observatory offers a unique experience that takes its guests into the fascinating world of birds of prey. A team of highly qualified falconers presents spectacular swooping flights of various species of eagles and falcons, which hunt dummy prey with astonishing speed and skill. The largest old-world vulture also impresses with its enormous wingspan. During the demonstrations, which last around 50 minutes, detailed information is provided about the birds of prey on display and the UNESCO World Hertige site of falconry. The Kreuzenstein Eagle Observatory is not only an ideal excursion destination due to its easy accessibility, but also because of the unique view, which in good weather encompasses almost all of Vienna. There is also a playground with a large playing field and picnic facilities as well as a restaurant on site. A bus parking lot is available for families and groups.
