Our farm has been family-owned since 1782. Since then we have been producing fruit and wine here in the Wachau. We currently cultivate around 8 hectares of orchards and just over 3 hectares of vineyards. The Danube valley between Melk and Göttweig has a very favorable climate, which makes it possible for the wine and fruit varieties to thrive. The warm days and cool nights give our fruit varieties a particularly intense aroma. We offer a wide variety of fruit from June onwards: Cherries, apricots, pears, plums, apples.
Pears:
Among others: Clapps Liebling; Williams Christ; Kongress; Sommeralexander; Bosc Flaschenbirne; Pastorn
Apples:
Jerseymac; Gravensteiner; Gala; Elstar; Jonagored; Jonagold; Novaju; Golden Delicious; Rubinette Rosso; Granny Smith, among others.
As a member of the winegrowers' association VINEA WACHAU NOBILIS DISTRICTIS, we are committed to producing high quality natural wines under constant self-monitoring.
