Our country inn with guest house is located in the middle of Bierbaum am Kleebühel, between mighty, south-facing loess slopes and the Danube!
The village is located in the Wagram wine-growing region, where Grüne Veltliner, but also varieties such as Frühroter and Roter Veltliner can convince. Viticulture has long produced a small-scale and diversely structured cultural landscape in which the Wagramer Nuss has its place. The nut was and is a natural companion of the winegrower and the wine here in Wagram and this tradition should be revived. There is also still plenty of game in the region, which we offer in our country inn in different variations alongside classic tavern dishes and international dishes!
In the immediate vicinity you will find the castles on the Danube - "Loire Castles of Lower Austria" - starting with Grafenegg Castle, Seebarn Castle, Winkelberg Castle, Stetteldorf Castle, Neuaigen Castle, Eleonorenhain Castle, and on the other side of the Danube is Zwentendorf Castle!
The Maria Trost pilgrimage church in Kirchberg am Wagram or the Fischer von Erlach church in Groß Weikersdorf are also worth a visit, as is the museum in Rupersthal by Ignaz Joseph Pleyel! Regional museums and the Alchemists' Park in the region are well worth a visit! Rieden hikes, guided or on your own, can be mastered without great effort, and you can also hike the Way of St. James here!
